Did you know all pantries generally require the same 6 types of products? No matter if you have a walk-in pantry, a closet pantry, a cupboard and/or drawers type of pantry, the same 6 supply categories will help you create zones and organizational systems your whole family can enjoy and maintain.
And if you're ready to organize your pantry for good, instead of just purchasing one-off items here and there, check out my step-by-step process on how to create a Beautiful & Maintainable Pantry in 5 Steps, because planning and preparation will help ensure you select the right products from our list of favorites below!

The 6 Organizing Products Needed for Every Type of Pantry:
PRODUCT 1: BINS
Clear or opaque, shallow or deep, short or long. This product category is the trickiest to plan, because there are so many options (woven, wood, metal, plastic, clear, micro-organizing) and you will likely purchase the greatest quantity of these (along with canisters), so you want to be sure they are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Below are a few of my favorite bins at various price points and sizes.

PRODUCT 2: CANISTERS
To decant, or not to decant. We like to recommend decanting items for freshness, visibility and aesthetics, but the level to which you decant should align with your lifestyle and goals. Some common categories we like to decant are cereal, snacks, baking ingredients, pasta, grains and wellness powders. The canisters we tend to favor are opaque so you can clearly see what's inside, either glass or plastic.

PRODUCT 3: TURNTABLES
Turntables are perfect for corners and deep shelves, where items frequently get lost in the way back. Turntables are most commonly used for oils, vinegars, condiments, spreads and single serve snacks. They come in a variety of diameters (9" to 20"), heights and styles to match the aesthetic you desire.

PRODUCT 4: RISERS
Can't see what's behind the first row of cans and spices? Want to maximize the vertical space on a tall shelf? Enter the tiered riser!

PRODUCT 5: DRAWER DIVIDERS
These will only come into play if you have drawers in your pantry, but are incredibly helpful to create sections for items like single serve snack bags. Drawer dividers are expandable so they can fit a variety of spaces, and can easily be moved around as your needs may change.

PRODUCT 6: LABELS
Not to be overlooked, labels are the finishing touch that will ensure your organizational systems are easy for all to use and maintain. When creating your system, you may choose to stick with one style of label for everything, or you may mix and match based on the organizing product you're applying it to. For instance, below we used a combination of vinyl labels on clips/magnetic holders on bins and oil/water resistant labels on canisters.

These are just a sampling of my favorite pantry organizing supplies, and I hope they are helpful in getting you started on the organization of your pantry!
