THE PROCESS
01 | CONSULTATION
There's a reason you're ready to get organized, and this is the time to talk about it. We start with a complimentary phone call to see if we're a good fit for your needs. If so, we'll meet in your home to view the space(s) and ask questions about your likes, dislikes, lifestyle, style aesthetic, budget and goals for the future home organization system. We'll also take some pictures and measurements in order to develop your custom proposal.
02 | PROPOSAL
Sort & Soul develops a visual mood board of recommended organizing products/solutions based on what we learn at the Consultation, and a comprehensive estimate inclusive of all organizing service fees and products.
03 | SORT SESSION
The most pivotal part of the organizing process. Sort & Soul removes and categorizes all items within the space (and adjacent spaces when applicable), then expertly guides you through the editing process. We won't pressure you to throw items away, but we will remind you of your goals for getting organized and how to get there!
04 | PLANNING + PREP
Behind the scenes magic. Based on the amount of items staying in the space and the amount of space each category requires, Sort & Soul develops your custom design + space plan, purchases all organizing products and preps items for the Install Session.
05 | INSTALL SESSION
We put the vision, planning and organizing products to work, leaving you with a decluttered, beautifully organized space! You'll feel at ease, inspired and energized as we walk through your new space and discuss practical tips for maintaining it.
MEET RACHEL, THE FOUNDER
Organizing is part of my DNA. I've been sorting, systematically styling and making lists since early childhood. I can remember making an organization checklist for a friend’s room when I was 9 yrs old!

I’m not only about efficiency and organization though, I love and appreciate visual design so I studied Marketing at Ohio State and spent 13+ years as a Marketing and Advertising professional.

My high standards, innate passions and acquired knowledge led me to found Sort & Soul rooted in the importance of blending function and aesthetics to create long-lasting, impactful organizational solutions.

Beyond organizing, I'm a wife and mom/cruise director to two young girls.
I like to travel, bake, bike ride, convene at "unreasonably high levels" with my girls at book club (aka wine club depending who you ask), golf, ski, read, spend lots of summer days at Lake Erie and am an avid Seinfeld fan.

I can also be heard reciting the lines to many 90's and early 2000's pop/rap songs and comedies,"Life's a garden: dig it!"
