Our process is designed to support real homes and real routines. Each project is guided by a thoughtful framework, then tailored based on your needs, space, and season of life, ensuring the experience feels clear, supportive, and well-paced throughout.
01 | CONSULTATION + PROPOSAL
There's a reason you're ready to get organized, and this is the time to talk about it. We start with a complimentary phone call to see if we're a good fit for your needs. If so, we'll meet in your home to view the space(s) and ask questions about your likes, dislikes, lifestyle, style aesthetic, budget and goals for the future home organization system.
03 | DESIGN + PLANNING
Behind the scenes magic, truly! During this step we work off-site with the learnings from our Style Guide review + Sort Session. We develop your custom design + space plan, purchase organizing products and prepare everything for the Install Session.
02 | SORT SESSION
The most pivotal part of the organizing process, and our first in-home session with you. We remove and categorize all items within the space, then expertly guide you through the editing process. Our goal at this step is to ensure the items remaining all have a home and meet the defined purpose(s) for the space. We won't pressure you to throw items away, but will remind you of your goals for getting organized and how to get there!
04 | INSTALL SESSION
During our final in-home session, we put our conversations, vision, planning and organizing products to work. We leave you with well-designed, aesthetically cohesive, sustainable organizing systems that are certain to elevate + simplify everyday living.
ABOUT SORT & SOUL
Hello & welcome! I'm Rachel, Lead Organizer and Founder of Sort & Soul. I started Sort & Soul in 2020 out of a lifelong passion for organizing and the desire to create tangible, meaningful impact in the daily lives of others.
My background in retail Marketing & Advertising gave me the opportunity to refine my eye for design as I worked alongside many creative disciplines, and flex my planning skills by directing large-scale productions across the country (think 5 day photoshoots with crew, models, rental locations, trucks of product and more)!

Since 2020, our team has decluttered, designed and organized hundreds of spaces for busy families in the greater Columbus area. Whether it's a single space, multiple spaces or the whole home, when you work with Sort & Soul we promise the following.
Your goals, challenges, decisions and openness will be met with kind, encouraging, relatable and realistic solutions. We are a team of moms, crafters, health and fitness enthusiasts, small business owners, school volunteers, and more that can relate to so much of what we see in client homes!

Your organizing products will be thoughtfully selected to maximize functionality and blend aesthetically with your style and home interior selections.​
Your efforts will be minimal. We handle all the heavy-lifting from decluttering and categorizing your items for review, shopping and returning organizing products, coordinating designs and installations with support vendors when needed, to implementing your final organizing systems.
